Meta Muse isn't in your country yet. Here's what is.
Meta launched Muse, its personal AI agent, in the US in September 2026 and in Japan on 23 October, and hasn't named the next countries. If you live somewhere else, Daiku works with the AI you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT: it gives it a browser on your own sites, in a country you pick, and asks for your face or fingerprint before it sends, pays or deletes. 1, 2

What Meta Muse does well
- You talk to it like messaging a person, in the Muse app or straight in WhatsApp. 1

Where you can get Muse

If you're thinking of a VPN
- Meta's plans are only for people located in a country where Muse is offered. 3
Where Daiku falls short
- Daiku is invite only for now. You join the list and wait for your invite.
- Daiku isn't open source, and you can't run it on your own computer.
- Daiku works when your AI asks, or on a check you set up. It doesn't plan your day for you.
- Daiku works on websites only. It can't open the files or apps on your computer.
- Some sites block browsers that AI uses. Then you may need to finish a step yourself.
- Your browser sleeps when no one uses it, so the first step after a break takes longer.
Pick Meta Muse if
- You live in the US or Japan.
- You'd like a new assistant you message in WhatsApp.
- You want an agent that's free for most of what you need.
Pick Daiku if
- You want an add-on for the AI you already use, not a new AI to learn and trust.
- You'd rather keep Claude, ChatGPT or the AI you already use.
- You want your face or fingerprint on every payment and send, by default.
- You want your browser and your log stored in the EU.
