Claude Duet, Dots, Muse and Grok Bot, side by side
Claude Duet is Anthropic's new agent you message, with a computer of its own in the cloud. Since 21 October 2026 it's a waitlist for Claude Pro and Max in the US. Dots, Muse and Grok Bot are the same idea from OpenAI, Meta and xAI. What Claude Duet does well
- It comes to you with what needs your attention, and keeps working after you close the app, on a computer of its own in the cloud. 1, 2
- It connects to Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, HubSpot and more. Where there's no connector, it uses its own browser in the cloud. 2
- You type passwords into a form on your own phone. They never reach the computer where the agent works. 2, 3
- Before it sends, pays, signs or deletes, it shows you the action, where it goes and every recipient, and waits for your yes. 3

Worth knowing
Where Daiku falls short
- Daiku is invite only for now. You join the list and wait for your invite.
- Daiku isn't open source, and you can't run it on your own computer.
- Daiku works when your AI asks, or on a check you set up. It doesn't plan your day for you.
- Daiku works on websites only. It can't open the files or apps on your computer.
- Some sites block browsers that AI uses. Then you may need to finish a step yourself.
- Your browser sleeps when no one uses it, so the first step after a break takes longer.
Pick Claude Duet if
- You live in the US and already pay for Claude Pro or Max.
- You want an assistant that comes to you first, with what needs your attention.
- Most of your work is in apps it connects to, like Gmail, Calendar and Slack.
Pick Daiku if
- You want an add-on for the AI you already use, not a new AI to learn and trust.
- You'd rather keep Claude, ChatGPT or the AI you already use.
- You want your face or fingerprint on every payment and send, by default.

Is Claude Duet available outside the US?
Not yet. Claude Duet is a waitlist for Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US, and Anthropic hasn't given a date for other countries. 1, 2

Can you watch Claude Duet work?
No. Anthropic says you can't watch Claude Duet work in its browser or take the browser over. You see each task on its own page, and you can steer it. 2, 3
Does Daiku work with Claude?
Yes. Add Daiku to Claude, and Claude gets a browser on your own sites that you can watch, and take the wheel of any time, from your phone or your computer. It asks for your face or fingerprint before it pays or sends.
